The Microsoft Language Portal has been updated with terminology and UI translations from Office 2013, Windows Phone 8 and new languages added to Windows 8 and Office 2013.
The portal provides online search for thousands of translations used in Microsoft products in more than 100 languages. Here’s what had just been added:
- Office 2013 terminology and UI translations
- Windows Phone 8 terminology, UI translations and new Windows Phone style guides
- 14 new Windows 8 and Office 2013 languages have been added: English UK, Punjabi (Pakistan), Sindhi (Pakistan), Central Kurdish (Iraq), Uyghur (People’s Republic of China), Belarusian (Belarus), Kinyarwanda (Rwanda), Tigrinya (Ethiopia), Tajik (Tajikistan), Wolof (Senegal), K’iche’ (Guatemala), Scottish Gaelic (United Kingdom), Cherokee (United States) and Valencian (Spain).
The portal can help you find the right translations for your apps for Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, Windows desktop applications, or websites. Find the translations used in Microsoft products for UI references such as “Start Game”, “App purchase”, “Settings”, “Download app”, “Rating”, “Write a review”, and many more localized standard phrasings for your multilingual apps.
