Announcing MSDN Translation Wiki: edit translations for Visual Studio 2012 topics in your language

Do you want to challenge your language skills and technical knowledge? With MSDN Translation Wiki, you can earn points, medal and achievements for your translation contributions.

Translation Wiki is a wiki environment that allows users to read and edit MSDN Library online content for Visual Studio and .NET Framework with an editor. The content is translated using a combination of human and machine translation. Users can see the English text by hovering over the translated sentences.

The MSDN Translation Wiki is now available for Visual Studio 2012 and supports 13 languages (Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese/Brazilian, Polish, Turkish, and Czech).

You can suggest improved translations for all Visual Studio 2012 topics. Your suggestions will be reviewed and approved by a moderator.

If you are new to Translation Wiki, visit the Community Translate Page and start contributing! And if you build a strong record of contributions, you could become eligible to become a moderator. After a few weeks of edits, you can contact us at admintw@microsoft.com to become a moderator. The Microsoft Project Manager will let you know if you qualify.

Follow the Developer Guidance Localization team blog to learn more and send us your feedback.

The translation editor should be fixed: I'm a translator and moderator and too many times I have to give up making a translation because the editor reports error during the submission of a suggestion for a translation. Furthermore, I think that the editor
lacks an important feature: it doesn't allow to format a portion of the text as a hyperlink.
