Calling Hindi speakers: Help us improve Windows terminology

If you speak Hindi and are interested in improving the Hindi terms and translations used in the Windows user interface, we are looking for your feedback.

If you think the translations of “phishing” (“??????”) or “Internet” (“???????”) should be different, sign on to the Microsoft Terminology Community Forum and give us your opinion.

To get started, click here and sign in with your Windows Live ID:

Once you’ve signed in and registered, simply click the Glossary link. You will see the list of English source terms and equivalent Hindi terms. You can vote for the specific translations, comment on them or propose new ones by selecting Suggest a Translation or Vote.

The forum will remain open for feedback until 3 June.

The list contains a number of selected terms we’ve received mixed feedback on already, but is not exhaustive. If a term is not in the list, you can still provide feedback via the Language Portal feedback page.
