Internet Explorer 9 RC ships in 40 languages

Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate is now available in 40 languages simultaneously:

  • Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Hong Kong SAR), Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Portuguese Brazilian, Portuguese European, Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Latin), Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian…
  • … and 4 “Language Interface Pack” languages: Catalan, Hindi, Indonesian and Vietnamese, with more coming soon.

    Many thanks for reporting this!

    The fix for these pages is now live on the site. These were the two pages affected:…/how-do-i-install-or-uninstall-internet-explorer-9…/is-the-pre-released-internet-explorer-9-right-for-me

    However, we are going to do a more thorough sitewide sweep later to ensure we've addressed all issues.
