Office 2010 released in Macedonian and Irish
The Office 2010 Language Interface Packs for Macedonian and Irish are now available for free download and installation:
A Language Interface Pack allows you to change the User Interface in the following Office 2010 applications: Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. The packs include spell checkers.
Trivia about Macedonian
Macedonian, an Indo-European language, is a Slavic language belonging to a group of South Slavic languages that also include Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, and Bulgarian. It is most closely related to Bulgarian. These two languages share several features with Romanian, Greek and Albanian (though those are all from different language families) and form the so-called Balkan linguistic union.

Trivia about Irish
One interesting feature of the Celtic languages, including Irish, is that there are no words corresponding to “yes” and “no”. Instead, the main verb from the question is recycled in the answer. For example, the question “Will you travel to Dublin?” generates the answer “Will travel” or “Will not travel”. You can appreciate that this feature can pose some challenges in the localization, for example, of the button text for “Yes” or “No” that are often re-used.
