Norwegian is not just Norwegian. There’s two of them: Norwegian Bokmål (literally: “book language”) is used in writing in 85-90% of Norway, but Norwegian Nynorsk (“New Norwegian”) has equal status as a written language.
Why is it important to have software in Norwegian Nynorsk?
We localize both variants for Windows and Office. Windows 7 in Nynorsk released a couple of months ago and can be downloaded for free to run on top of a Norwegian Bokmål installation. It is also available for Vista and Office 2007.
And they key Norwegian Nynorsk terminology is available for download or online search from the Microsoft Language Portal.
