Windows Live beta “Wave 3” – Give us feedback on translations!

Beta versions of the new “Wave 3” Windows Live applications (Messenger, Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker and many more) are now available in 16 languages* from https://download.live.com.

But we need your help to ensure that the terminology meets your expectations.

So we’ve opened a terminology feedback program that gives you an opportunity to comment on the terminology that will appear in the final, released version. The project comprises the first 16 languages as well as a number of other languages, such as Turkish, Greek, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian and others. We have a limited number of terms at the moment, but will be adding more over the next few weeks.

We’d like to hear what you think about the terms in your language. Are they:

• appealing?
• easy to understand?
• technically correct?

We believe so, but on occasion we receive feedback that our terminology differs from the terminology already established by communities that use our products. This may occur, for example, as a language evolves over time.

Click here to start giving feedback and suggesting alternatives. As always, your feedback is much appreciated.
