Convergys and Redknee Are 'Suite' on Microsoft CRM

By Dmitri Lozdernik

We are excited to partner with Convergys and Redknee in the communications space. Both companies have announced their intentions to leverage the flexible technology and rich features of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 to further enhance their customer care solutions. This move also positions Convergys and Redknee to provide a new end-to-end alternative and a well-rounded solution to our customers.

At Microsoft, one of our core strengths is providing a technology infrastructure that is cost-efficient, scalable and boosts workforce productivity to ensure competitive edge. Our robust sever platform is built using an open architecture (well defined SOA) that can easily integrate into a carrier’s network without the need for complex integration projects. Standards-based, scalable, interoperable with existing network infrastructure and third party applications, proven to achieve lower TCO, our technology is being deployed by communications providers worldwide.

Microsoft does not have its own billing and charging solution that we can offer direct to service provider customers. Our approach is to partner with industry leading ISVs who can leverage Microsoft’s core products like Dynamics CRM and SQL Server, to enhance their own offerings. Microsoft is a partnership company and is proud of its heritage of working together with an ecosystem of partners that each deliver differentiated value to customers.

Partnerships with companies such as Convergys and Redknee continue to boost the credibility of the Microsoft platform in the communications space. Microsoft’s industry partner ecosystem is expanding as ISVs and SIs choose Microsoft technologies to deliver flexible, scalable and robust OSS/BSS solutions to our service provider customers. Additionally, adoption of Microsoft technology by leading industry players serves as a proof point of growing acceptance of Microsoft platform in the communications space.

Let us know what you think of the new solution. We’d love to hear from you.
