Welcome from MacWorld 2008.  Today is a big day!  Today is the day that Microsoft will show off Office 2008 for Mac!  I will be here all day and all week covering and speaking with interesting people on the "other side of the aisle."  Many of you may be wondering why a Microsoft evangelist would want to talk to a bunch of 'Macheads.'  There is only one word, perception. 

Time and time again, I've written that the world thinks Microsoft is two products, Windows and Office when the reality is resoundingly different.  As many are aware, Apple's marketshare is increasing, slowly, worldwide.  In key verticals like education, the marketshare is even more pronounced.  Because of the need to support a heterogenious OS environment, it is important to educate and drive awareness that advanced Microsoft solutions like SharePoint 2007 and Exchange as well as Windows Server interoperate well with OS X.  Also *wow, i just won a copy of office as I typed this, * educating customers on our partner solutions is a key message that can be driven with a solid Microsoft presence at MacWorld.
