DPM による Hyper-V の Live Migration 環境のバックアップを行う際の Tips

本日は、CSV のネットワーク構成を iSCSI ストレージを使って用いている場合のネットワーク構成における注意事項と、Live Migration 環境の安定性向上の為の様々な修正プログラムやウイルス対策ソフトのチューニングについてお知らせします。Hyper-V の CSV 環境のバックアップを行っている皆様、是非ともご参考下さい。
- Hyper-V ホスト クラスタのネットワーク構成について
Hyper-V の CSV を用いた、Live Migration 環境のバックアップを行う場合、バックアップに伴ってリダイレクト アクセスが発生します。
→ リダイレクト アクセスの説明や、その他、Hyper-V のバックアップ時のチューニングについては以前のポスト (https://blogs.technet.com/b/systemcenterjp/archive/tags/csv/) をご参考下さい。
リダイレクト アクセス発生中は、Hyper-V ホスト クラスタ間のネットワークにおいて、多量の通信が行われる可能性があり、それに備えて適切な設定が行えているかご確認下さい。
確認方法:

まず、ホスト クラスタのノード上で、Power shell を起動し、以下のコマンドを入力します。
PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-ClusterNetwork | FT Name, Metric, Role
上記にて、ネットワーク カード毎に、Role の値が表示されます。
例:
Name Metric Role
-----------------------------------------------
iSCSI Storage Network 10100 0
Heartbeat Cluster 1000 1
Host Access Cluster 10000 3
CSV-LM Cluster 1100 1
上記のネットワーク名と Role ですが、以下の定義に従って構成されていなければいけません。
Role 0: iSCSI ストレージ専用
Role 1: クラスタ内部通信とハートビート用
Role 3: クラスタ環境の外部アクセス用
もし、それぞれのネットワーク名と Role の値が異なるのであれば、以下の設定方法にて適切な設定に変更して下さい。

注釈:
設定内容と Role の値は以下の通りに一致します。
Role 0 = "このネットワークでのクラスター ネットワーク通信を許可しない" ボタンを押した状態
Role 1 = "このネットワークでのクラスター ネットワーク通信を許可する" ボタンを押し、"クライアントにこのネットワーク経由の接続を許可する" チェック ボックスを OFF の状態
Role 3 = "このネットワークでのクラスター ネットワーク通信を許可する" ボタンを押し、さらに "クライアントにこのネットワーク経由の接続を許可する" チェック ボックスを ON の状態

- 修正プログラムについて
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 のリリース以降も、Hyper-V の Live Migration 環境を安定させるため、以下の 4 つの修正プログラムがリリースされております。(※ 注: 2012 年 2 月にもう一つ追加されましたので、ご確認下さい。)

- ウイルス対策ソフトのチューニングについて
ウイルス対策ソフトによる Hyper-V コンポーネントのリアルタイム スキャンの影響により、VM の消失などの異常が発生するという事例も以下に報告されています。

こういった問題が発生する環境である場合、もしくは予防を行いたい場合には、リアルタイム スキャンの除外対象として以下を指定します。

- VM 構成 xml ファイルが存在する既定のディレクトリ C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Hyper-V
- VM の構成 xml ファイルが存在する全てのディレクトリ
- VHD ファイルが存在する既定のディレクトリ C:\Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual Hard Disks
- VHD ファイルが存在する全てのディレクトリ
- スナップショット ファイルが存在する全てのディレクトリ
- VMMS.exe (プロセスの監視対象として除外します。)
- VMWP.exe (プロセスの監視対象として除外します。)
- CSV のディレクトリ ("C:\Clusterstorage") とその配下全て
