Extending the size of the SoftwareDistribution.log and Change.log

Have you ever wanted to extend the size of your softwaredistribution.log and/or change.log?  If so then check out this tip from Joe Tindale, a Senior Support Escalation Engineer in our WSUS support group:

You can control the log file sizes by adding a DWORD value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftUpdate ServicesServerSetup. The value is "LogRolloverFileSizeInBytes" and it specifies the maximum size for both logs in megabytes (the default is 20MB). Once the size limit is reached we rename the old log to a .old extension (overwriting the previous log if it exist) and create a new log.
