WSUS: Taking control with scripts

Have you ever wanted to automate the process of searching, downloading and installing a specific update?  How about scanning for security updates without connecting to Windows Update or to a Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server?  Well we have sample scripts to do this plus a whole lot more, and with a little tweaking here and there you can use these resources to write a script to take control of just about any aspect of WSUS within your environment.  To get the scripts and learn more about writing your own, check out Using the Windows Update Agent API from the Windows Server Update Services section on our MSDN site.

Enjoy!
