We’ve released new updates for Surface 3 devices running Windows 10. These updates include new firmware for Surface UEFI on devices with Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators Update) and above that resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002. For devices with Windows 10 Version 1803 (April 2018 Update) additionally includes a new driver for Intel(R) HD Graphics that improves compatibility with high resolution external displays on Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
These updates are available via Windows Update or in MSI format from the Surface 3 drivers and firmware pages on the Microsoft Download Center. Click Download to download the MSI file for your specific version of Surface 3 and version of Windows 10.
Note: For devices with Windows 10 Version 1703 (Build 15063) or Windows 10 Version 1709 (Build 16299) you should download the MSI for Build 15063 and above. For devices with Windows 10 Version 1803 (Build 17134) or above, you should download the MSI for Build 17134 and above.
