Starline releases new storage servers running Windows Storage Server 2008 R2!

Check out the latest Windows Storage Server 2008 R2-based appliances from Starline computer GmbH!  These systems look like they can really rock some storage with 10Gbit Ethernet and 6Gbit SAS. See the new datasheet for the NDL-3000RW. I love the product family name “NAS Deluxe”. Hard to believe they have all those features for a price that is barely over the cost of the hardware.

A few of the key selling points on these beauties:

  • Includes the new iSCSI Software Target 3.3 which is very cluster-friendly when running Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.
  • Serves up files using SMB 2.1 and NFS file protocols.
  • Easily add additional JBODs using the SAS Expansion Port.
  • Snapshot support and RAID 5 / RAID 6 using the very effective Areca ARC RAID controllers
  • 3 year warranty standard!
