Facebook apps are coming to a website near you

I am intrigued by the recent annoucement that you'll be able to incorporate Facebook applications in your own website simply by embedding some Java code according to Duncan Riley's post on TechCrunch titled Facebook Apps on Any Website: Clever Move. In turn Duncan links to Wei Zhu's article titled JavaScript Client Library for Facebook API on the Facebook developer website

Certainly the idea of seamless integration INTO Facebook applications will provide some interesting possibilities though I hope people don't start adding dumb apps like Vampire to previously useful websites!
