I spent the weekend in the Yorkshire Dales just twenty miles from the venue and came across the following sign - it's for real:

Grassington is a wonderful (very) small market town right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales - great food, beer, views and lovely people.

I worked out why my virtual machine mis-behaved during the demonstration when I attempted to make it full screen - I'd cut it's RAM from 512Mb to just 384Mb and this just wasn't enough for Vista to operate in so it's hardly surprising!
