InfoSec 2006 is just around the corner - if you're in the UK and interested in security it's well worth a visit

Browse here to find out more about the event. InfoSecurity (InfoSec) Europe 2006 is an exhibition and symposium held in London from the 25th to 27th April. As I've mentioned before it's a huge event - typically over 10,000 IT and security professionals visit during the three days.

I know that many of you live outside the green and plesant shores of the United Kingdom and therefore are unable to join us. I hope to be able to report in future years that the seminar programme will be available via the Internet.

Microsoft is planning to deliver a comprehensive and in-depth programme of security-related activities at this year's event:
Microsoft Security Academy:  A 3-day workshop and security seminar programme where Microsoft experts will engage with over 1,000 InfoSec delegates on a wide range of security issues and Microsoft solutions. (Check out the details at www.microsoft.com/uk/security).

Come and visit us at Stand 610 - you'll meet straight talking technical people who will answer your questions

We'll be focussing on Secure Messaging solutions, Windows Security and profiling our security partner expertise. There is also a small, on stand, presentation theatre where short Security Insight sessions will be run throughout the day.

The DTI Information Security Breaches Survey (ISBS) 2006 and will be released at the event - it may be helpful for you to justify the importance of security to those around you in your business.
