Hi Stefan – Thank you for the SharePoint 2016 general availability information. A couple of questions:
    1. SharePoint 2016 versions currently available for download from the Volume License Service Center – Are these the production versions?
    2. If the SharePoint 2016 versions available for download from the Volume License Service Center are not production versions, when will the production versions become available?

    Thanks,

    John Wayt

    Hi Stefan,
is there any functional difference between the RTM with CU binaries and the GA binaries or is it just a supportability statement?

    1. Hi Piotr,
the binaries on VLSC should be the RTM binaries.
You need to install the CUs on top of you would like to update SP2016 to the latest patch level.
      Cheers,
      Stefan
