  5. I would like to know whether the following issues will be addressed in SharePoint 2016. Some of us are still stuck on 2010. Fast integration carried a little more punch there, with features like entity extraction (People, Locations..etc), I would like
to see that comeback. Also I would like to take issue with the search index size, with 2010 we could hit the billion documents mark on the index. We would like to see SharePoint Search index go Big Data, any chance of seeing this happen.

  7. Hi Stefan
With regard to rights required on the domain for SP2016 service accounts I am trying to discover if ‘Log on as batch job’ is still required when using Windows Server 2016 as the OS (Windows Server 2016 states ‘Log on as a batch job’ is for legacy software).
    Thanks for your help

    1. Hi Geoff,
sorry – I don’t have more info on this than the official documentation.
If you need a detailed answer here I would suggest to open an advisory case with Microsoft to allow us to get more background info through our official channels.
      Cheers,
      Stefan
