Azure Resource Manager Support for Packer and Terraform | GA
In partnership with HashiCorp, we are very happy to announce support for Azure Resource Manager (ARM) in Terraform and Packer, two of HashiCorp’s core infrastructure configuration and provisioning tools. With this announcement, we are making it easier for developers to provision and manage infrastructure in Azure and across platforms, particularly for Linux-based applications. Elasticsearch on Marketplace | GA
We are also announcing the availability of Elasticsearch and Kibana in Azure Marketplace, for bring your own license (BYOL) projects. This solution offers a choice of Elasticsearch 2.0.0, 2.0.1 and 2.1.0 with the Kibana visualization interface, making it a great choice for your search needs in Big Data projects. Parse Server backed by Azure managed services | Public
At //Build we announced the availability of Parse Server backed by Azure managed services. This template deploys Parse Server 2.1.4 in App Service and includes an Azure Storage adapter, Push notifications powered by Azure Notification Hubs and DocumentDB support. Limited time offer, act now! Customers who deploy this template by June 1, 2016 will receive a free DocumentDB account (limited to 10 DocumentDB Standard collections) This free usage will aid in the evaluation of this template and migration of your Parse application. Billing for DocumentDB usage will be enabled on June 1, 2016.
Pivotal Cloud Foundry on Azure | Public
In partnership with Pivotal, we’re announcing the availability of Pivotal Cloud Foundry on Azure Marketplace, through a 90-day trial solution. This template packages providers such as MySQL, Redis and RabbitMQ in addition to Cloud Foundry. It also includes Spring Cloud Services, which makes it a great option for organizations exploring Java-based microservices.
