Announcing the beta release of System Center Orchestrator 2012 – Process Automation for the Private Cloud

We’re pleased to announce that System Center Orchestrator 2012 beta is publicly available today. Orchestrator 2012 provides the process automation component of the System Center solution and enables customers to build flexible and cost-effective IT infrastructure.  

 

Orchestrator 2012 is deeply integrated with the System Center solution and offers the following unique benefits:

  • Optimizes your existing datacenter investments by integrating, extending, and interoperating with heterogeneous tools and systems
  • Helps deliver flexible and reliable datacenter services by orchestrating process workflows (or runbooks) across multi-disciplinary process silos
  • Lowers costs and improves predictability by automating private cloud scenarios to reduce error-prone manual activities

We encourage customers todownload and provide feedback on the beta release. We’re also inviting participation in our Community Evaluation Program, which offers customers the ability to ramp-up on this solution via participation in various Microsoft organized forums.
