Microsoft Management Summit 2011 Day 2: The Power of the Cloud at a PC Near You with Windows Intune

Microsoft’s Management Summit 2011 is in full swing and there have been some exciting happenings.

Today in his Day 2 keynote, Brad Anderson announced the general availability of Windows Intune , which helps businesses manage and secure PCs through the cloud, while providing upgrade rights to Windows 7 Enterprise.

He also announced availability of the System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Beta 2, which provides IT organizations with a unified management and security solution to empower user productivity from anywhere, on a broader choice of devices.

Both solutions are part of Microsoft’s efforts to help IT organizations manage the proliferation and variety of devices in the enterprise.
