Announcing the Availability of Windows SBS Codename Aurora Preview and Windows Home Server Codename Vail

Today, Microsoft has released the preview of Windows Small Business Server Codename “Aurora” for download.

Windows Small Business Server Codename “Aurora” is part of the greatly anticipated next generation of our award winning Windows Small Business Server, and represents a significant departure from our traditional on premise version because Aurora will be Microsoft’s first server to deliver both on premises and cloud computing capabilities for small businesses.

To learn more about the next version of Windows Small Business Server, visit the SBS site. The beta release is available on Microsoft’s connect site and can be downloaded now. Join the site, download the preview and start testing!

Additionally, Microsoft also released a new preview of Windows Home Server Codename “Vail” today, which includes many feature enhancements and can be downloaded from the Microsoft connect site. If you are new to the beta, please go to https://connect.microsoft.com/windowshomeserver to sign up for the download. You can provide feedback about the new build through the Microsoft Connect site and even submit ideas or feature suggestions for future versions of Windows Home Server.
