MMS 2010: More exciting news from Day 2 in Las Vegas

The excitement continues at Day 2 of MMS 2010, where Brad Anderson delivered the Day 2 keynote speech, focused on Microsoft's user-centric computing vision that was outlined at MMS 2009 and highlighted the progress Microsoft has made over the last year.

As part of this update, Brad specifically announced the planned availability of Configuration Manager V-next in 2011 and demonstrated a new version of our current offering, with the revealing of Configuration Manager 2007 R3.

Another exciting release is the beta of Windows Intune, the new cloud management offering for desktop management. This is the evolution of the System Center Online concept Microsoft shared last year, at MMS 2009. Windows Intune is a great solution for smaller businesses that delivers security and management technology for desktops from the cloud, and will enable organizations to manage and secure PCs anywhere.

MMS 2010 powerfully demonstrates that Microsoft remains committed to offering customers the tools that will enable them to lower the cost of their operations while delivering a more dynamic IT environment, from the desktop to cloud.
