SQL Server Reporting Services SDK for PHP

Today, from the Jump In! Developer Web Camp underway in Zurich, Microsoft released the first SQL Server Reporting Services SDK (Software Development Kit) for PHP. The toolkit aims to increase the ability of PHP applications to interoperate with Microsoft’s web-based business intelligence and reporting solution, enabling developers to build applications that run on top of SQL Server Reporting Services and integrate reports into web applications.

Developers can use the toolkit to perform common operations such as listing reports in PHP applications, providing custom report parameters from a PHP Web form, and managing the style of the output formats to meet their needs. This interoperability toolkit is now available for download from CodePlex here, and is open to feedback by the community. More information about the toolkit is available on the Interoperability@Microsoft blog.
