Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Reporting Services Style :)

This year I thought I would do something different, since I had some time on my hand (rare) Smile. I created the below greeting card using SQL Server Reporting Services and data from SQL Azure. You will see that the gauge indicating the safe speed limit of 60km/h (Australia) is a reporting services visualisation, along with the new data bars (branches of the Xmas tree) and the star at the top (new KPI visualisation). Lastly the location of Denali Reserve is stored in SQL Azure database which supports geo spatial data and more and the Bing Maps tile visualisation is provided by SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2.

More importantly then all this cool technology is to ensure that everyone has a great Christmas and New Years.

I have uploaded the RDL file for the below report just in case you are interested Smile.
