Something not quite SQL Related

Yesterday evening I attended the Sydney SQL Server SIG and at this meeting we had a special guest speaker from the USA - Mr Stephen Few. He presented about business intelligence from a data visualisation perspective. He talked about how BI solutions can go to total waste if the end reports are not easily communicating the data to make effective presentations.

It was a very interesting presentation and I throughly enjoyed it and it has made me purchase his two books and I highly recommend it to anyone who develops BI solutions on any platform (not just on Microsoft) - because after all it is about humanising the data.
