INFOR ERP: Navico uses SQL Server and Syteline to replace older ERP system

Navico is a worldwide supplier of marine electronics with 2,500 employees globally. For Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) they selected INFOR ERP Syteline running on SQL Server to replace their MANMAN ERP system.  The case study is available here.

The case study cites that SQL Server:

provides data management and analysis that are enterprise-ready, highly scalable and comprehensive. It is reliable, highly secure, manageable, economical, and fully integrated with SyteLine 8.”

As well as:

“The changes that resulted from the implementation of the first phase were dramatic. SyteLine 8 with SQL Server delivered rich, built-in functionality requiring less customization, shorter implementation times, and fewer IT resources.”

SQL Server again demonstrates that it delivers more for less. The less including:

  • Hardware costs.
  • IT Resources.
  • Implementation time.
