Audit and Control Management Server (ACM) 2013 now supports password encrypted workbooks

Overview:

Some customers would like to track spreadsheet compliance for Excel spreadsheets that have been encrypted with a password.  This was not possible with the RTM release of ACM Server.

ACM Server now supports the processing of password encrypted files as long as the appropriate infrastructure is in place, see link below for details:

One huge benefit of this system is that the passwords do not need to be stored anywhere, an enterprise wide key is used to decrypt all workbooks in the enterprise.

This new feature is available now.
