How SharePoint 2010 Can Help Produce A TV Show

Hey all, for those of you have followed this blog over the last couple of years, you know I've covered a lot of different topics about SharePoint.  Today's post then is probably the "kitchen sink", as in I've covered everything but the kitchen sink, until now.  I'm going to talk about how SharePoint 2010 can help to produce a TV show, but it's not as crazy as the title might sound.  Unlike most every other post I do, this one is really a personal pitch.  There's a group of kids down in Los Angeles that are fresh out of school and have put a lot of time and effort into developing an idea for a new TV show that's largely based on the travels(captured on film) of a couple of them during the last semester before their graduation and the life's lessons they learned along the way.  While ideas for a TV show are anything but unique in L.A., the commitment and preliminary work (months now) that these kids have put into the project is.  They've spent many nights and weekends to get their project to this point.

So how does SharePoint 2010 figure into all of this?  Well it's something like this.  I too have spent many nights and weekends developing the different posts that are on this site.  I'm pretty sure that at least a few folks out there have been able to benefit from these various endeavors, a fact which makes both you and I happy.  All I'm asking folks for is to just take a look at their site on kickstarter.com.  Watch the video in which they give about three minutes of background about the project, followed by about an 8 minute preview of the content (it really is very well done).  If you like it, consider donating a few bucks to help jump start their project; if you don't like it, don't worry about - I'll continue to post new content here irrespective.  They have an achievable goal to get this off the ground of only $6,000, and also have made contact with some pretty viable sources with some well known networks.  If you choose to donate I guarantee all of the kids involved will be grateful.
