Dedicated CAAB webinar on designing and deploying LOB apps in Azure IaaS

Typical multi-tier line of business (LOB) applications are hard enough to deploy in an on-premises datacenter. When you deploy them in Azure IaaS, there are additional design considerations for networking, availability, storage, and security.

On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, from 8:00 to 9:00 AM PST, join Microsoft senior content developer Joe Davies as he presents a design and implementation methodology for typical, multi-tier LOB applications in Microsoft Azure IaaS that incorporates:

  • Connectivity, DNS name resolution, addressing, and routing
  • Identity providers and account synchronization
  • Storage accounts and types
  • Confining traffic flows, data protection between servers and end-to-end, and security monitoring

This design methodology identifies the set of values needed to create the Azure IaaS components to host the application, such as resource groups, virtual networks, subnets, availability sets, load balancers, and virtual machines.

Once your design is complete, learn how to use standard Azure PowerShell command blocks to build the Azure IaaS components for your LOB app quickly and successfully.
