Happy Thanksgiving!

If you’re somewhere in North America then you’re probably not reading this, but if you’re reading this from some other continent and aren’t familiar with our Thanksgiving holiday there’s a nice write-up on Wikipedia:

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks at the conclusion of the harvest season. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

In the United States, Thanksgiving is a four day weekend which usually marks a pause in school and college calendars. Most business and government workers (78% in 2007) are also given both Thanksgiving and the day after as paid holidays. Families and friends gather for a reunion, a day of thanks, and a festive meal.

So what does this have to do with System Center? Absolutely nothing, but I’m at home eating turkey and watching football today, and thoughts of System Center are far far away. If you have the day off today then I hope they are for you too, as there will be plenty of time for that on Monday.
