Jason Buffington is the senior technical product manager for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager. Jason has been working in the networking industry since 1989, focusing mainly on data protection and storage technologies. He is a Certified Business Continuity Planner, MCSE, MCT, and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in storage technology. Jason has spoken around the world at numerous Microsoft events, and his work has been published in numerous industry journals, including Storage Networking World, Storage Management Solutions, and Network World. Before joining Microsoft, he held leadership posts at NSI Software with the Double-Take product and at Cheyenne/CA with the ARCserve product. Jason studied computer science at Texas A&M University.
