Deciding how to vote

Casting aside my Microsoft SB hat for a moment, like many voters I am currently undecided on how to vote. I’m obviously reading the press and all the relevant Small Business headlines but it’s difficult to distinguish between the main parties. So I’ve just tried out Vote Match on the Daily Telegraph site, answering 30 questions and then choosing a few priorities. The survey then suggests which party you are most closely aligned to. Unfortunately in my case there were only a couple of percentage points between the top 3 so I can’t say it’s made a huge difference, but it’s an interesting exercise. And at the end, you can see how each party lines up (or not) against the choice you made for each question, so if nothing else it’s educational. Give it a go – it may help it may not!

I also saw an item on the BBC yesterday, explaining that 49% of all seats haven't changed hands in the last 40 years, and that there are apparently just 100 key 'marginals'.
