Free financial advice for small businesses

A useful survival tip for 2009 is to take advantage of any free resources offered to small businesses. One of these is the news feed on the Small Business Centre homepage, which is updated daily and has topical, relevant news that can help your business.

If you take a look at the right-hand column of this page you'll see we've incorporated the news feed here in the blog.

Did you know, for example, that you can get a free financial health check? This news item, published on Monday 5 January, revealed that over 10,000 UK businesses have taken advantage of the government’s business health check service. If you’re interested in taking up the offer you should contact your local Business Link organisation. There’s also a Business Link online assessment tool you can use as a starting point.

To make sure you’re not missing out on relevant and topical information why not subscribe to the RSS SME newsfeed? Updated daily, articles are archived, and you can search by topic or by date. Relevant news can provide you with greater insight on the latest market trends and recommendations, which in turn can help you shape your business and strategy.
