Ask the Experts: cloud computing and mobile working
Did you see the BBC feature a few weeks back on Microsoft's massive new storage facility in the US, and how this all relates to ‘Cloud computing'? This is not an easy concept to grasp initially, because it represents a fundamental change to the way we've all got used to buying and using software. A question on how cloud computing is relevant to small businesses came into the Small Business Centre a few weeks ago, and so we thought this would be a good topic for an Ask the Expert article.
Fortunately one of our Small Business Specialist partners, Brian Reid from C7 Solutions, volunteered to take this one on -read what he has to say about making cloud computing less nebulous.
And our second questions for November focused on how to share files with colleagues, without spending too much money. Again, we were fortunate to have the answer provided by Guy Gregory, Technical Specialist at Peak Support Services and also a Microsoft Small Business Specialist.
