Technology cuts “Hello, hello, hello” to just “hello”

You may have seen the recent news story about police forces across the UK going mobile. Some 100,000 hand-held devices are being given to police officers to cut down on their administrative burden. Apparently it’s estimated that the mobile devices will save up to 99 minutes per shift – hopefully freeing officers to pursue offenders rather than fill in forms.

It’s not just the large organisations that can make significant savings from going mobile though.
