Take advantage of the SharePoint Look Book sample designs in your own environment!

SharePoint Look Book site is an awesome web site having pictures on example modern portals build with SharePoint Online. These designs demonstrate what's possible with the modern SharePoint and we will be releasing updated guidance on the Look Book also in future. Having example pictures and written clarifications of the structures around the sites built with modern SharePoint is great, but wouldn't it be even more awesome if you could provision actual site collections and structures based on those designs so that you can even adjust those based on your needs? That would be awesome! We thought so as well and started building a specific service to enable you to easily provision sample content and scenarios to any SharePoint tenant.

FastTrack and Microsoft 365 deployment best practices in less than 5 minutes

FastTrack for Microsoft 365 is a program from Microsoft that was designed with one goal in mind: to help IT departments like yours maximize the value from your investment. It is included with eligible Microsoft 365 subscriptions at no additional cost. FastTrack helps with three things: (1) Light up Microsoft 365 services, (2) Migrating data, and (3) Driving user adoption by providing digital assets. FastTrack has collaborated with over 60,000 organizations and we have learned a lot based on those experiences. This post provides videos that cover the basics of FastTrack and the top five best practices for successful Microsoft 365 implementations.

The 100 migration batches limit and how to not run into it

As you might or might not know, in Exchange Online we have an upper limit of 100 migration batches. 100 batches created at the same time should be enough for all O365 multi-tenant customers. But, as we have seen in support, sometimes there are support tickets opened because customers would see the error that says: "The maximum number of migration batches is already running. Please remove a batch before you add another one". The main reason why this number of batches limit is in place is that having more than 100 batches causes performance problems and could cause outages for other customers in the multi-tenant system.

Comments (1)
  1. Any updates on when GCC customers will be receiving additional functionality in Teams and Planner (e-mail notifications, Teams tab app integrations) as well as Flow and PowerApps (SharePoint integration)? The missing functionality is preventing us from deploying these applications in our organization. Thank you.
