We are pleased to invite you to the Online Education Meeting “Personalization and transformation". This online meeting will take place on February 22nd 2013.
This online education event is the last in a series of four online events proposed by the Microsoft Executive Briefing Center in Brussels. Each online event addresses a specific education subject through a two hour virtual presentation by Mike Lloyd, Education Technology consultant,Edutech Associates, and will be followed by a live discussion in the Microsoft office in your country or region.

EventTopic: Personalization and transformation
Whilst few people would argue that transforming education is essential for many reasons including international competitiveness, the fact is that schools and
schooling systems are extremely hard to change. One reason is that they both need to operate and change at the same time. Another reason is that
transformation is extremely complex.
The same can be said for personalization. Few would disagree that making the learning experience more personal for the learner is the right goal, the complexity of doing this within systems that were designed for another era is difficult to achieve.
This, the final session in the V-EBC series, provides a clear roadmap and set of tools that can be used to achieve both transformation and personalization through using technology and modern management methods. Drawing heavily on methods that have been proven to work across the world, the session will be
relevant to individual schools, consortia, and entire schooling systems.
Event speaker: Mike Lloyd, School Technology Innovation Centre Program Manager and Education Technology consultant, Edutech Associates
Former engineer and teacher, Mike has worked with governments and agencies across the world advising on how to modernize their schooling systems through exploiting technology. He also assisted technology and services companies across the world to develop solutions that meet the needs of modernized schooling systems.
