Local Educators Gather at Microsoft's Silicon Valley Campus to Discuss Classroom Project Needs

This evening more than 200 educators from San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, together with representatives from DonorsChoose.org, will gather at Microsoft's Silicon Valley campus to share classroom project ideas and funding needs.

One technology tool that brings public school teachers and private or corporate donors together is DonorsChoose.org. To date, DonorsChoose.org has raised more than $76 million to fund nearly 185,000 projects, reaching over 4.5 million students.

Microsoft has a long history of supporting this online charity through grant donations. Microsoft is excited to continue contributing to the DonorsChoose.org program and the next generation of entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley.
