Our partner GridPro has recently released a new version of their popular WebFront product! WebFront provides a browser- based interface for Service Manager with the ability to view/update work items and configuration items in a user experience very similar to the main Service Manager console.
New features for WebFront for System Center 2012 – Service Manager v2.1:
· Form Customizations: Customize your form to be able to leverage your data model extensions also in a browser. Using an in-browser editor you’re able to add controls like UserPickers, TextBoxes and ComboBoxes directly in the browser!
· Configuration Items Workspace: Access the full Configuration Items workspace including views, forms and console tasks.
· Branding: Make it your WebFront for Service Manager by putting your company logo in the center.
· SendMail: Based on a huge demand, WebFront now supports the SendMail console task (part of the Exchange Connector solution).
