Big news yesterday with Microsoft announcing the availability of Online Services for organisations of all sizes, not just limited to those with 5,000 seats or more.

Whilst the Beta is currently only available in the US, the fact that we're extending Exchange Online & Office Sharepoint Online to a much wider audience really signals how important we see the world of Hosted Services, sold via a SPLA - Service Provider Licensing Agreement.

The ins & outs for Partners worldwide are still being baked however one thing is clear - regardless of whether you sell via on premise or hosted or both, it'll be worth your while to understand the announcement & the new opportunities it could open up for you.

Last point - even without this announcement, the single fastest growing license type for SBS in Australia is hosted & we can only see this growing. Either built yourself or onsold via partners such as WebCentral & New Lease, hosted offerings are here to stay.
