To partner the preview release of Windows Small Business Server Code Name “Aurora” this week, we have just posted further resources for you to learn more about the new editions for the SBS family, view some end-end scenarios, and get hands on with the product.

  • Product Overview Guide - This guide provides an overview of the benefits of a server-based small business solution and introduces Windows Small Business Server Code Name “Aurora” (a new edition of Windows Small Business Server) and Windows Small Business Server “7”. It describes the new and enhanced features of Windows Small Business Server, presents scenario walkthroughs to highlight several of the new capabilities, and provides references to additional resources, including detailed installation instructions for the pre-release software.
  • Aurora Click-Thru Demo – an interactive click by click end- to-end demonstration of Aurora including initial configuration, client join, RWA and more drive by Microsoft Showcase technology. If you are a member of the Microsoft Partner Network, you can also view this through Microsoft DemoShowcase.
  • Aurora Demo Video – sit back and watch a 20 minute overview of Aurora in action including voice over (sorry for the Australian accent!)

For those of you who want to start educating your customers or colleagues on SBS, we also have the online versions of the brochures that were made available at WPC

And while we are still tracking to have the SBS7 preview out shortly, here are a few resources including an end-end SBS7 video demo to help while you wait
