Ramon Ray and Response Point

Ramon Ray is editor of a popular technology web site for small businesses, smallbiztechnology.com, and a respected small business technology expert.  See his latest article published on bMighty.com, where writing about small biz telephone systems, he says:

And though the price is a fraction of a PBX system, you can still expect to get some rather advanced telephony features. One particularly cool feature that Microsoft built into Response Point is a voice response system. You press a little blue button on your phone, verbalize your command, and Response Point does the rest. Customers will no longer have to navigate through an annoying jungle of phone trees or memorize key strokes to transfer a call. Instead they can simply speak into the phone and say "voicemail", "marketing" or "Sally Fields", etc.

The voice response feature also can be a real time saver and productivity booster for employees who are in the office or working remotely. Using voice commands, employees can access contacts in their address book and Response Point then connects with customers, suppliers, and other important business contacts. You can even set it up to appear as though the call came from your office when you're on the road.

Now if it could only make a decent pot of coffee.

Thanks Ray!  (and I'll be sure to check with the team about doing the coffee feature for V2).
