On the leading edge

Thinking about gaining more leadership experience? Here’s three programs to help you get involved in your local technical communities and to challenge Microsoft to continue to push for greater innovation.

Microsoft Technical Communities (MSTC)

As a Community Leader the MSTC program provides all the essentials for a successful community event. Grow the passion and skills of your local community and receive help with content, speakers, sponsorship and promotion.

Most Valuable Professional (MVP)

Each year only about 3,800 of more than 100 million eligible applicants are recognized as Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs). MVPs possess exceptional technical expertise and make a significant and positive impact in technical communities. They are independent of Microsoft but receive access to private information and provide feedback to Microsoft product teams. Nominations are currently open.

Regional Directors (RD)

Regional Directors have represented the best of the Microsoft technical community since 1993. They are independent Developers and IT Implementers, working on all platforms and technologies. They listen to what you want from Microsoft and sharing their honest perspective.

There are just three who have the esteemed title in NZ - Jeremy Boyd (Mindscape), Chris Auld (Intergen) and Keith Patton (Marker Metro). Congratulations again to these three for achievements and efforts within the Microsoft community!
