Happy New Year from the TechNet team!

The start of the New Year also means the start of the new IT Camp season. We have a bunch of events coming up in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, and Wellington, from February to April.

What is an IT Camp?
Our IT Camps are typically 1-day, instructor-led, hands-on training events. A typical schedule involves a morning of presentations and demonstrations, followed by an afternoon of hands-on with the technologies using a hosted environment.

Why attend?
If you’re an IT Pro working in infrastructure and you want to get up to speed with the latest technologies then the IT Camps provide a great opportunity to do so.  The presentations and demos give you an overview of the offerings, and the hands-on labs give you a chance to try out some scenarios on a pre-configured, throw-away environment, prior to building out in your own test/dev environments.

How much to attend?
Nothing. Nada. Zip. Our IT Camps are free events, and we’ll even shout you lunch if you come along!

What's scheduled?
This round of IT Camps includes topics such as Building a Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure Modernization with Windows Server, and Enterprise Device Infrastructure, Mobility & Management.  There is some updated Windows 10 content in the Enterprise Device Infrastructure camp and it's likely there will be some Windows Server.  Next content introduced in all the events as information comes to hand.

Check the “Events” section below, and in upcoming TechNet flash newsletters, for the next few IT Camps and links to register.  If you have a colleague who is interested in attending an IT Camp, they can sign up to receive this newsletter by registering at the following URL:
