SQL Server 2017 の Release Candidate 1 が登場

米国時間 7 月 17 日に Linux にも対応する Microsoft SQL Server 2017 の Release Candidate 1 (RC1) リリースが公開され、ダウンロード可能となりましたのでお知らせします。SQL Server 2017 は Windows、Linux、Docker コンテナ上で動作します。

Linux 版の SQL Server 2017 も Windows Server 版と同様、高可用性での運用が可能です。Always On 可用性グループを Pacemaker などの Linux ネイティブなクラスタリングソリューションと統合することができます。

 

Release Candidate 1 の主な拡張

  • SQL Server on Linux の Active Directory との統合: RC1 で SQL Server on Linux が Active Directory 認証をサポートし、これによりドメインに参加している Windows/Linux マシンから SQL Server のドメイン証明書と Kerberos プロトコルを使った認証が可能になります。
  • TLS を使ったデータの暗号化: SQL Server on Linux のインスタンスとクライアントアプリケーションとの間で TLS 1.2, 1.1, 1.0 を使ったデータの暗号化が可能になります。
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) on Linux のサポート: Unicode ODBC ドライバーがサポートされました。
