Riprendendo l’annuncio di Jeff Woolsey, vorrei sottolineare alcuni aspetti di questa nuova release; oltre ad aver aumentato notevolmente le specifiche hardware permesse, una delle più grosse novità, a mio avviso, è il fatto di poter disporre gratuitamente dell’alta disponibilità delle Virtual Machine (fino a 16 nodi Hyper-V Server 2008 R2) nonchè della Live Migration. Un’ultima cosa da notare e ben riportata nel post del Virtualization Team e da Giorgio, è la funzionalità esclusiva di Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 che permette di effettuare il boot da una memoria flash!
