Hyper-V - Virtual Machine Migration Tool available

Do you want migrate/restore/copy a VM from one Hyper-V host to a different one? An issue here can be the differences in the CPU features (Parent) exposed to the VM. Microsoft has released a really great tool which is available on Codeplex called “Virtual Machine Migration Wizard – VMMW” where this can be checked prior to run into compatibility issues. In R2 editions there is the feature available called “processor compatibility mode” which can be used here but personally I never would use it except it is requirement…. :-)
