All Things E (eDiscovery That Is)

Some people have questioned me recently about where they can get the deep dive on all things E (Microsoft eDiscovery that is). One of these conversations went something like this: “Dammit Jim, I’m an eDiscovery specialist, not an IT everything expert.” I get where he is coming from, SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, Office 365 – there is so much going on it is enough to make your head spin.

So here are some resources to help you drink from the proverbial fire hose for all things regarding Microsoft eDiscovery. There are lots of great resources out there, so here is a link fest so you too can become an enlightened eDiscovery expert, and no you don’t need to be an IT everything expert.

First, Microsoft breaks content down into three sites. This can make things a bit confusing because as an eDiscovery person you may be doing a mix of setup and using the eDiscovery site. You may be searching on TechNet to find out how to run a search query, but that content is actually on Office.Microsoft.com. Be sure you are searching in the right place.
